Charlie Hodgson A really cool album, hornet party and circle of days were my favourite but every song is great, a bit more gentle in places than their last album but I really dig it. Only downside with this album is now I have to wait about 2 years for more Hippie Death Cultiness. Favorite track: Circle of Days.

Bucky On their follow up to 2019s '111' HDC take on a slightly more progressive approach maintaining their Pacific Northwest roots verging further into the dark forest of dank riffs and venomous drums. The production level is outstanding highlighting the colossal drumming, wicked vocals, and power couple on guitar/bass. Circle of Days might not be what you expect but its brazen direction pays off in aural dividends of contemporary doom.
