Doom-Desert-Doom great record, so happy to hear these... higher res (44.1-24) for the FLAC Favorite track: Stand Down.

Alexander Åberg Solid one from solid veterans. Although I could do without Own Yer Blues, which is just to slow. Nice to hear Brant Bjork singing, and of course this album gets some extra fuzz (pun intended) with not one, but two veterans as Nick Olivieri also makes up a part of the band. Favorite track: The Older Kids.

Brant Bjork’s desert vibe meets the punk attitude of Nick Oliveri and creates an explosive mix and a particular branch of rock.

The sound is mellow, but these are the same guys who created the legend of Kyuss, and the Desert-Stoner rock movement which is alive now more than ever. This album is a celebration of the sound of the Desert, driven by the spirit of these incredible musicians and artists. 7 original tracks for this incredible debut album which describes how to ride into the dusty roads of the Mojave Desert where it has all begun. Brant’s vocals give a classic color to the hypnotic-bluesy riffing background.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff.
